Small jewels of medieval architecture
This itinerary takes you on the Templars trail, in charge of protecting and accompanying pilgrims to the Holy Land and the Order of the Hospitallers. The route departs from La Cassagne, whose priory, church and barn are remarkable. At Condat-sur-Vézère you can admire the dungeon of the Commanderie des Hospitaliers. At Temple Laguyon there is a representation of an eye inscribed in a triangle in the Templar church, seen by some as a Masonic symbol. Ajat has the Templar remains of an old cloister, a church and a house.
